Terms of Service
Last updated: October 30, 2026 (draft)
Draft, not legal advice. These terms were written in plain language as a starting point and have not been reviewed by a lawyer. A lawyer review is recommended before relying on them.
These terms are an agreement between you and Tauheed Jalal Ahmed, operating as ReplyNeighbour ("ReplyNeighbour", "we", "us"), 21306 61 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6M 0J9, 519-505-4060, hello@replyneighbour.ca. By creating an account or using ReplyNeighbour, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use ReplyNeighbour for a business, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for that business.
1. What ReplyNeighbour does
ReplyNeighbour helps local businesses reply to Google reviews. On the Free and Starter plans, you paste a review and our AI writes reply drafts that you can edit, copy and post yourself. The app doesn't connect to your Google account and never posts anything for you. On the Done-for-you plan, our team posts replies for you (see section 5).
2. Plans and monthly limits
| Plan | Price | Monthly limit |
|---|---|---|
| Free | C$0 | 5 AI replies |
| Starter | C$13.99 per month | 100 AI replies |
| Done-for-you Standard | C$49 per month per location | 25 reviews per location |
| Done-for-you Plus | C$99 per month per location | 60 reviews per location |
- All prices are in Canadian dollars.
- We're not currently registered for GST/HST; if that changes, we'll give 30 days' notice before adding it.
- On Free and Starter, one "AI reply" is one request to write drafts: a full set of drafts, or one regenerated draft.
- On Done-for-you, the limit counts the reviews we handle for each location: replies we post and suggested replies we email you for approval. The same number per location applies to drafts you write yourself in the app.
- Done-for-you reviews over the limit are charged as overage (see section 6). Locations with more than 100 reviews a month need a custom quote.
- Limits reset on the 1st of each month. We use UTC time, so the reset happens on the evening of the last day of the month in Alberta.
- Unused replies and reviews don't roll over to the next month and have no cash value.
- On Free and Starter, when you reach your limit, you can upgrade or wait until the next month.
3. Fair use
ReplyNeighbour is meant for a business replying to its own customers' reviews. We may slow down, limit, suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe is being used in an abusive way. This includes automated or scripted use, scraping, sharing one account between unrelated businesses, reselling the service or its output as your own service, trying to get around the reply limits, or anything that puts unusual load on the service.
4. AI capacity
Drafts are written by an AI model, and we set a monthly limit on our total AI usage to keep the service affordable. If that limit is reached, reply writing may pause or slow down for everyone until the next month or until we raise the limit. A paused request isn't counted against your plan. We'll try to keep these pauses rare, but we don't promise uninterrupted service.
5. AI drafts and your responsibility
- AI drafts can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable. They may contain mistakes about facts, tone or your policies.
- You must read and, where needed, edit every draft before posting it.
- You're responsible for anything you post or approve, including any promise, apology or statement about a customer. For reviews about injuries, legal claims or anything sensitive, talk to your insurer or lawyer before replying.
6. Done-for-you plans
Done-for-you comes in two tiers, billed per location: Standard (C$49 per month, up to 25 reviews per location each month) and Plus (C$99 per month, up to 60 reviews per location each month).
- To use Done-for-you, you add hello@replyneighbour.ca as a Manager on your Google Business Profile for each location you pay for.
- We use that access only to read your reviews and post replies on your behalf, following the guidelines we agree with you (for example your brand profile: tone, sign-off, things to always or never say, and your refund and compensation policy). We won't change other parts of your profile unless you ask us to.
- We aim to post replies within 2 to 7 days (for replies that need your approval, within 2 to 7 days after you approve them), but we don't guarantee a response time.
- Replies we post follow your guidelines and are posted with your authority. You can review, edit or delete any reply on your profile, and you're responsible for the guidelines you give us.
- You can remove our Manager access at any time in your Google Business Profile settings. If you cancel, we'll remove ourselves as a Manager when your subscription ends.
Complaints and low-star reviews
- What we post on our own: we post replies ourselves only to 4 and 5 star reviews that aren't sensitive.
- What needs your approval: we never post a reply to a 1, 2 or 3 star review, a complaint, or any review about staff, refunds, safety, health or legal matters without your approval. For these, we email a suggested reply to your account email address, and we post it only after you approve it or send us your edited version. If you don't approve a reply, the review stays unanswered.
- Facts and disputes are your responsibility: you're responsible for the facts in any reply you approve or edit, and for resolving any dispute with a reviewer. We don't investigate, verify or mediate complaints.
- We may decline: we may choose not to reply to any review we consider sensitive. You can always reply to it yourself.
- Monthly review limit: suggested replies we email you for approval count toward your tier's monthly review limit (25 per location on Standard, 60 on Plus), whether or not you approve them.
Going over your review limit
- Overage: if a location gets more reviews in a month than its tier's limit, we'll keep handling them and charge C$1.50 per extra review, added to your bill for the next month.
- Custom quote above 100: locations with more than 100 reviews a month need a custom quote. Email hello@replyneighbour.ca. Until we've agreed on one, we may stop handling that location's reviews beyond 100 for the month.
- If a location regularly goes over its limit, we may suggest moving it to a higher tier.
7. No guaranteed results
We don't guarantee any result, including more or better reviews, higher star ratings, better search rankings, more customers, or that a reviewer will change or remove a review. Google decides what appears on its services and may hide, remove or refuse replies or reviews, or change its rules, at any time. We're not responsible for what Google does.
8. Not affiliated with Google
ReplyNeighbour is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google. Google and Google Business Profile are trademarks of Google LLC.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use ReplyNeighbour to:
- write, buy, sell or post fake reviews, or reply to reviews for a business you don't own or manage;
- harass, threaten, insult or reveal private information about a reviewer or anyone else;
- create illegal, hateful, defamatory or misleading content, or break Google's policies;
- impersonate another person or business;
- try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around the service's limits or security.
10. Payments and cancellation
- Paid plans are subscriptions billed monthly in Canadian dollars (CAD), in advance, through our payment processor Stripe. Your subscription renews each month until you cancel.
- Done-for-you is billed per location. If you change the number of locations or your tier, the price changes to match. When you switch plans or tiers, your old subscription ends so you aren't billed twice.
- Done-for-you overage (C$1.50 per extra review) is billed with the following month's charge.
- We're not currently registered for GST/HST; if that changes, we'll give 30 days' notice before adding it.
- You can cancel at any time from your account. You'll keep your paid plan until the end of the period you've already paid for, and then you won't be charged again.
- We don't give refunds for partial months or unused replies or reviews, except where the law requires it.
- If you delete your account, any subscription ends right away and the rest of that month isn't refunded.
- If a payment fails, we may move your account to the Free plan.
11. Changes to prices or these terms
We may change our prices, plans or these terms. For any change that affects you badly, such as a price increase or a lower monthly limit, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email or on the site. A price change applies from your next billing period after the notice period. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect. If you keep using ReplyNeighbour after a change takes effect, you accept it.
12. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from the Account section of the app. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, misuse the service, don't pay, or if we stop offering ReplyNeighbour. Where it's reasonable, we'll warn you first. If we close the service entirely, we'll give you notice and refund any prepaid period you can't use.
13. Service provided "as is"
To the extent the law allows, ReplyNeighbour is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- we're not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost customers, lost data or harm to reputation;
- our total liability for any claim relating to ReplyNeighbour is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the event that caused the claim (or C$0 if you're on the Free plan).
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
15. Indemnity
To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs (including legal fees) from any claim by someone else that arises from content you post or approve, guidelines you give us, or your breach of these terms.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Alberta, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go to court there.
